One Million Hockey Legs signed an agreement to share knowledge with the Rajasthan State Sports Council. Not only sharing as from November 2015 till February 2016 Ducth Trainer Ewout Pahud d' Mortagne coached and trained the Rjastan Academy teams as well as he gave a 7 days coaching course for the State Council hockey coaches.

Rajasthan is one of the most characteristic States of India with many old fords of the Maharadjas, the monumental cities like Jaipur and Udaipur. In this beautiful State One Million Hockey is helping to set-up good hockey structure for the Rajasthan State Sports Council. Floris Jan Bovelander visited the Residential Hockey Academy in Jaipur (boys) and in Ajmer (girls).

After that Dutch coach Ewout Pahud trained together with the local coaches both academy teams for 3 month with a lot of passion and succes. At the end of the 3 month period a 7 days coaching course and with the agreement of sharing knowledge a system to select players for the academy was developed.


This is only the start of the project. In the coming years, school hockey and hockey development in the Rural areas, a new center in Udaipur and more school coach and High performance coaching courses will be given.

A joint goal is to reach 50.000 children in Rajasthan to show and teach the National Sport.
